A Word From Our Executive Director

Residents,
Spring has finally sprung and the weather is getting warmer and warmer. As the children are getting outside, playing, and enjoying life let's remember to keep them safe. We have noticed several residents driving fast and recklessly throughout the sites. Slow down!!

A big THANK YOU to the residents who have checked out our new website and are using the "Pay Online" option. If you are interested in using the feature, but can't figure it out - give us a call.

Also, a big THANK YOU to the HOSA Club at DCHS for supporting our Egg Hunt. It was a success.

On June 4th, we will be hosting a DHA Block Party, we ask that if you have any ideas, suggestions, or want to help, please contact Tracy. There are more details about this in the "DHA News" section. Please, please, please get involved.

Lastly, we would like to congratulate the Class of 2022!! You did it!!

Sincerely,
Sherry Lynch, Executive Director

DHA News

  • Administrative Business: All business will be handled through the service window. If you are sick, please call our office instead of making a visit.

  • Rent: If you choose not to pay your rent online, please remember that rent must be paid by check or money order and placed in the dropbox. Do not put cash in the dropbox.

  • Spread the Word: Applications are now being accepted on our website. The kiosk in the front lobby will also allow individuals to apply on-site.

  • DHA BLOCK PARTY: We will be hosting a Block Party on June 4th beginning at 11 am at the Community Center. We will have vendors present to introduce countless resources available in Dickson County. We are in need of volunteers to help with setting up, planning, decorating, etc. Any residents willing to help with this event, please plan to attend the Resident Association meeting on May 10th at 2:30 pm in the meeting room or contact Tracy at 615.446.9766.

  • Pools: As the weather gets warmer, remember pools are not to be left outside unattended. Pools must be emptied every day. If left out overnight or unattended, maintenance will remove them from the property. No pools larger than 5 FT in diameter.

  • Trash Trailers!! We will be placing our dump trailer in various locations throughout the sites. On PAGE 4 there is a schedule for when the trailers will be in your area. Please note that we will follow this schedule as close as possible, but some adjustments may be made.

  • Please take advantage of this opportunity to use the trailers to clean up around your unit. Take note of the dates of when it will be in your area.

**ATTENTION**

As a courtesy to our staff, please let us know if anyone in your household is sick.

Maintenance

  • Pets!! We are having a major issue with pet waste in the yards. If you have a pet, you signed a pet agreement that states that you are responsible for cleaning this up. Our staff does not want to step in waste and then track it into your apartment, our office, etc. If this continues to be a problem, pet fees will increase.

  • Leashes!! Your pets are to be on a leash when outside. If they are tethered, they MUST be supervised. When finished with the leash/chain, do not leave it on the ground. These can cause serious damage to mowers/weed eaters. If we pick it up, it will be discarded.

  • Close storm doors!! It's that time of the year again - windy season - Please do not leave storm doors propped open. The wind will damage the closer and you could be charged.

  • There should be nothing stored outside of your unit other than lawn furniture and grills. Mattresses, old tires, bikes, toys, tarps, wagons, etc. should not be stored outside in the yard. Use your storage rooms or get rid of these items.

  • If something is not working properly - especially a leak, a soft floor, or plumbing - be sure to report that immediately before a minor repair becomes a major repair.
